So... It's been OVER a month since our last update. OOPS. Terrible blogger here.
In that month, we have had 2 birthdays, a trip to California, a trip to Newport, various lazy days, and fun times.
First on the 24th, Logan went to the doctor to get shots. Totally a bad trip but the little guy did great! He got poked then I scooped him up to feed him. Hardly any crying involved!! YAY! Then on the 25th, I had to have a stinking tooth filled. GROSS! But whatever, I got through it and it was quite relaxing.
On my birthday, July 27, I worked. Fun huh? Well the night before we celebrated at home. Erick had ordered cupcakes for me which were fantastic! He also had one of our family pictures turned into a canvas and bought me a weight watchers cookbook! It was a great day.
Our trip to California was great. The drive down was quite stressful. Someone got tired of being in his carseat and that made me one stressed out mommy. I was ready to turn the car around and drive back home. I was NOT having it. But we got through it and the trip was a blast. Ericks mom and the rest of his family finally got to meet Logan so that was great. We spent quite a bit of time with Ericks friends and had a blast. Logan got to visit the beach and see some sights!

He is Stomping on his Flat Rate Box!
So.... It's been a while! I am terrible at updating but when you have a baby that LOVES to be held, it's kinda hard.
Thursday the 12th was my Weight Watchers meeting and I have lost another 1.2 pounds. I was really happy to hear that. I was thinking the worst in those few seconds before I stepped on the scale.
Friday the 13th we (Kelley, Erick, Logan, and I) went on a picnic up by Foster Lake. The weather was absolutely beautiful! We ended up having to make Logan a little tent out of a blanket, his carseat, and some sticks so he could have some shade. We definitely need a huge umbrella haha! On our way home he started getting cranky and since he loves the outside so much we rolled his window down a bit and it totally calmed him down!
Logan was pretty cranky on Saturday morning and into the afternoon but he perked up after we walked to grandmas house. This baby is such an outdoor boy! He LOVES being outside!
Today we went over to Albany just to get out of the house. It was a much needed outing. I ended up getting 2 $60 pairs of jeans for $15 each! It was an amazing deal.
Now for the story of this weeks title... Logan is a petite guy. Let's just face it- he isn't breaking any records for his height. Anyway, he adores his Jumperoo. He is finally starting to really have fun in it. But he is too short to reach the ground. Slight problem when some sounds are activated by jumping. So we had a flat-rate box hanging around our house from a package and what do you know... it's the perfect height for him to stand on when he is in the Jumperoo. It was so funny to see him over there stomping on his box earlier today! This kid cracks me up!

Just a Walk in the Park... Take 2!

I am determined to find ducks. I admit it. Am I obsessed with it?! Probably. This was our THIRD time trying to feed ducks and we couldn't find any yet again. It's getting annoying. Well, at least we had a good trip to the park. Logan loved it! He loves to be outside. Something about it can calm him down like nothing else can.
After we went to the park, I had my weekly Weight Watchers meeting. I ended up losing 1.8 pounds! Woohoo. BUT, since I am a nursing mother, I am only supposed to lose 1 pound a week. Since I lost more than that, I have to add 2 points to every day. I already feel like I am eating ALL DAY. It's crazy. But hey, at least I am sticking to the plan! This mama will be fitter in no time!
On another note - It has now been 4 years since my grandpa has passed away. It seems so unreal that it has been that long and that he is no longer with us. I wish that he and my grandma could have met Logan. They would have loved him an unbelievable amount.

Today was a pretty darn good day. Kelley came over for the weekend like always and we just had a great family day. We had amazing french toast for breakfast, and then yummy pulled pork sandwiches and corn on the cob for dinner. We also invited mom over for the "festivities". LOL
After dinner, Kell, Erick, Logan, and I took a walk to the Duck Park with our bag of stale bread so we could feed the ducks. Well, there weren't any ducks. I guess the boys and I are going to have to try again tomorrow! We finished off our walk by going to moms for a bit and then back home. Erick is currently holding Logan as he sleeps. Such a GREAT sight.

Logan's Construction Company
TODAY WE GOT A NEW WINDOW!!! YAY! Super exciting considering the other window was not that great. Now we can actually open the window in our living room for some nice breeze.

Playdatin'
Today, Logan got to have a playdate!! My friend Sara was babysitting so she had us over so the babies could "play". Logan didn't really realize that Madison (7 mo.) and Wyatt (6 mo.) were even there most of the time. But at least the parents had fun!
Then Logan, Daddy, and I took a walk to the park by our house. Logan was pretty happy the way there but on the way home, he was not a happy camper! He cheered up pretty quick though.
